Privacy

STEM-Q is an independent educational information website. We respect visitors' privacy and aim to collect as little personal information as possible.

Personal information

STEM-Q does not ask visitors to provide personal information such as their name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, or address. We do not require users to create an account or provide personal information in order to use the website.

School and campaign QR codes

STEM-Q may provide schools or other organisations with QR codes or special links. These links may contain a non-personal reference code identifying the source of a visit, such as a particular school or campaign.

These reference codes are used to understand where visits originate and, where appropriate, to direct visitors to relevant information or links, including links to Tokyo Denki University.

The codes are not intended to identify individual students. STEM-Q does not use school QR codes to identify individual students.

Website analytics

STEM-Q may use Google Analytics or similar website analytics services to understand how the website is being used and to improve its content and functionality.

These services may collect technical and usage information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, and information about how visitors interact with the website. STEM-Q does not use this information to identify individual students.

Where analytics or other third-party services are used, their own privacy policies and terms may also apply.

External websites

STEM-Q may contain links to external websites, including university websites and other educational resources. Once you leave STEM-Q, the privacy practices of the external website apply.

This privacy statement may be updated when the website or its services change. The latest version will be published on this page.
