Yes. If possible, try the actual route during the time you would travel to arrive for classes and during the time you would return home. Check more than the travel time: look at transfer convenience, crowding, alternative routes in case of delays, and how easy it is to walk from the station to campus. Weekday and weekend conditions differ, so do not rely only on an open-campus visit when deciding whether the commute will be sustainable.
