Should I walk around the area outside campus before going home?

If you have enough time and can do so safely, walking around the area after the open campus can be useful. You can get a sense of the route from the nearest station, traffic and lighting at that time, and everyday conveniences such as places to eat or shop. It is not essential, however, so also consider maps, public information, and the university’s official access guidance.
